Bengaluru-based electric mobility platform Yulu today unveiled its two new electric two-wheelers - Miracle GR and Dex GR. The company said that these scooters are developed on a purpose-built platform for electric 2Ws that is engineered for Indian consumers, climate and road conditions.
The company also said that Yulu and Bajaj have plans to take their mobility service to the international markets with the new products by tapping Bajaj Auto's overseas markets, the companies said.
The electric two-wheelers are built at Bajaj’s factory and will be supplied to Yulu for their usage. It’s worth mentioning that Bajaj also owns a stake in Yulu.
Talking about the electric two-wheelers, the Mirace GR is designed for commutes and the Dex GR is designed for commercial usage, it gets a carrier at the back. Both scooters get a 1KW swappable battery pack and the scooter has a range of 60 km on one full charge. Both scooters can go up to speeds of 25kmph and has a load capacity of up to 15kg.
Yulu also said that the electric two-wheelers are foolproof, and fall-proof, and will also get OTA updates. The battery pack can be charged in 3.5 hours on a battery-swapping network. The company recently collaborated with Magna to expand the battery charging network, called YUMA energy. The company has over 100 battery swap stations across Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi and aims to expand the number of stations to 500 by 2024.
